You ultimately didn't win the sweepstakes, but don't kid yourself. You guys tried to secure DL Johnathan Taylor after Richt kicked him off our team. Alabama won. But Auburn, LSU and a number of other SEC teams were more than happy to add him.

Yeah, I actually don’t remember this at all. I followed recruiting heavily during that time, too. False.

Would you post in a thread by a Georgia poster attacking another school?

Alter? I don't see the point, so no. I have no alter.

But my conversation was with SaturdayinAthens and you are responding and seem upset. Are you his alter?

My point is this. Attack the Original Poster and not somebody coming in the defend their school I defend Georgia all the time, so I don't find it odd when somebody else defends their school. State facts and not opinions or attacks. That's all.

From an Auburn web site called Fly War Eagle
Fly War Eagle
It is not a shock to hear that the Auburn Tigers might be interested in signing a junior college player that was dismissed from the Georgia football team. After all, starting quarterback Nick Marshall fits that description perfectly. Tray Matthews, who is currently sitting out the 2014 season due to transfer restrictions, also signed with Auburn after beginning his career at UGA.

However, there are different circumstances surrounding one potential Auburn football recruiting target: Jonathan Taylor.
According to an AuburnUndercover.com report, the Tigers are currently recruiting the 6-foot-5, 335 pound defensive tackle who is now playing at Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Mississippi following his departure from Georgia.

Again. We all have them. The backlash from Georgia posters comes from another fan base trolling about it. See: OP

Wrong.

'You don't go there,' Gus Malzahn says on recruiting players with history of domestic violence

quote:

Malzahn was specifically asked if Auburn has a zero tolerance policy toward domestic violence. "There's no doubt about that," Malzahn said. "I would expect that most programs around the country have that." Malzahn also indicated that Auburn would not sign a recruit with a history of domestic violence. "There's no doubt," Malzahn said. "You don't go there." Former Georgia defensive tackle Jonathan Taylor, who was dismissed by the Bulldogs in July following an arrest for aggravated assault/family violence, has reportedly expressed interest in taking a visit to Auburn for this weekend's Homecoming game against Louisiana Tech, according to 247 Sports.

quote:

Auburn has not offered Taylor a scholarship.

quote:

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Taylor was placed into custody after police found evidence and took witness accounts that the defensive tackle had choked his girlfriend and struck her with a closed fist.

Because he’s a good football coach. He also went to a Christian school and got saved and was forgiven for his sins. He’s all good to go now.

More than a week after former Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze abruptly resigned for a "pattern of personal misconduct," former students at storied Briarcrest Christian have spoken out. USA Today reports three women who attended the Memphis high school - where Freeze was a coach and depicted in the movie "The Blind Side" - shared stories of inappropriate behavior. Katie Dalmasso, 27, told a story of wearing a Grateful Dead T-shirt, which violated the dress code. She said Freeze made her remove the shirt in his presence. "Coach Freeze pulled me in his office and told me that my shirt represented drugs,'' Dalmasso told USA Today. "I said, 'I'll go change in the bathroom,' and when I said that he said, 'No, you're going to change in here so I get the (Grateful Dead) shirt and you can't have it back.' "He didn't do anything sexual. But I stood in the corner and faced the wall when I did it and I changed out of my shirt. No privacy.'' A second woman, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told the newspaper Freeze was "hyper attentive'' to the length of her skirts. She said he stayed in the parking lot while she went to her car to change. She went on to say when she and football players were disciplined the football players had the option of being paddled as opposed to detention. She decided to take that option as well, but was "shocked" when he administered the paddling and not a female teacher. "(Freeze) did some bizarre warm-up taunt before actually making contact,'' the woman told USA TODAY. "I was humiliated that he didn't have a female in the room. "I don't know if the acts were intentionally sexual or if he was really that oblivious to the inherently sexual nature of his approach to discipline.'' Both Freeze - through his attorney - and Briarcrest Christian both released statements Sunday adamantly denying the accusations.

I can picture that dork waiting around the corner with a ruler What a cornball.

How many games did he participate in while at Bama? Or did he not play because he screwed up his second chance?

You should tread lightly, barner. You guys hired Pastor Hugh. It’s only a matter of time before the kinds of recruits that are swayed by free hookers start filling your depth chart.

At least our prostitutes are servicing our players at home and not driving them to strip clubs

Gus may have killed it eventually, but Rodney was talking to him and wanted him. The idea that there was zero interaction? False.

Any “problem” children Georgia might have don’t last long. They are dismissed from the program. It’s sad. One mistake and the consequences are brutal for these bad boys. Imagine having to spend your college years playing football in Auburn, Alabama? That qualifies as cruel and unusual punishment.

Why does Auburn love players expelled from better universities for academic and / or character shortcomings?

Never forget - Auburn only won a Natty this century because Florida expelled him for theft.

Have you no shame?
