Yeah but that recruiting is a touch harder when the state has no ties to the conference. With A&M in the SEC you gave Bama the luxury of telling parents that they'd be able to see their kids play in person every other year.

Thats because the big 12 has made it for 10 years since you all left. There's no reason to answer an illegitimate question. It has survived because of Texas and Oklahoma. And they're leaving because ESPN was retarded enough to think a long horn network instead of a big12 network was a good idea which lead to a nose dive in revenue for everyone versus other conferences
The only plus was being able to watch Texas' ego pre game, and then see it taken down several notches on their post game show followed by a re run of their loss.
