agree to disagree. Either one of us could be right seeing as how we have blown out every team we have played. We shall see on Saturday(damn it feels good to say that!)

about fricking time right? even if LSU loses, what's the problem with getting beat by a better team? it only pisses me off to lose to an inferior team.

If this game has no bad calls and no freak accidents.. then shite, there's nothing for LSU fans to do but congratulate the Bama team and coaching staff for beating a hell of a team. By freak accident I mean something along the lines of a bird flies into a game winning FG that's straight as an arrow and the kick falls short or some shite like that.

Well you're certainly not better offensively after loosing Jones and Ingram... McCarron is better than McElroy, but that doesn't make up for the threat Jones was in the passing game. And don't try and tell me Lacy and Richardson is a better combo than last year.

Defensively you're definitely better, with a more experience secondary and kick arse LB corps. However, I'm not sold on the Dline

Why do LSU fans keep saying their D is built to stop a PRO style O, when its obvious and on record by your coaching staff that its built to stop the spread.
While your at it answer this:
If 10 Bama was > than 10 LSU but lost on the road.
Then why cant an 11 Bama that might be < an 11 LSU win at home.
Especially since most of the players that had a great game last year against Bama are gone. Including PP7, Nevis who had a career day, Barksdale and Ridely, who is arguably just as good as Ware maybe better.

Last years team was not better, but DAMN they should have been. That team was LOADED. Just too young on D and couldn't make the plays when they absolutely had too. That will always be a team that I sit back and think about "what could have been."

Considering the injuries Alabama had along the D-line last year, this years D-Line is waaaaay better. Last year neither Upshaw or Darius were even close to 100%.

This is a mystery to me, too. If anything, Bama's D-line is better equipped to stop what LSU does on offense, than the other way around.

I think it's fair to say last year's team was more talented, especially on the offensive side if the ball. This year's team is playing and executing a higher level though.

McCarron is just as good, or better than McElroy was last year, and that's without a Julio to throw to. Richardson has
better numbers than Ingram's Heisman numbers, not tomention last year's numbers. There is a bigger dropoff this year from RB1 to RB2, though. OL us whipping arse this year, whereas they struggled a lot last year. WR is the only spot on offense where last year's unit was significantly better.

Defensively, it's not even debatable. This year's squad is a lot better. Dares is the only one missing, and he wasn't as dominant last year as he could have been due to a high ankle sprain most of the season.

I`ve read several comments from LSU fans suggesting they`ll cruise to victory because a weaker 2010 LSU team beat an Alabama team that was much better last year than this year. What is this being based on?

It amazes me that so many Alabama fans burst into tears because LSU fans think LSU will win the game.

Save your delusional we're the best team in the history of organized sports for JOX, the Birmingham News and Fox 6 and 42.

I don't listen to JOX so I have no idea what Bama fans are saying in Bham. I do know that on XM college sports Channel 91 and all over this site that LSU fans have constantly called Bama fans delusional for thinking they could even win this game. The consensus attitude is that a much weaker 2011 Alabama team (than the 2010 team) couldn't win in BR last year so Bama has no chance this year. When Bama fans disagree, we get lectured and are told to do things like "save you delusional we're the best team in history of organized sports for JOX". There is a lot of angry projection from LSU fans towards Alabama fans for some reason.

LSU fans seem to forget our 2006 team had FOUR first round picks...

Then we won the title in 2007.

this one shouldnt even be close. bama at home, better players, better coach, team built to stop us, we're built to stop Oregon. Bama by 42 IMO.
