Why do LSU fans care so much that Kiffin didn’t get to coach Ole Miss in the playoffs?

It’s really strange that some of y'all are still butthurt that your Coach was told to move on to Baton Rouge.

I don’t understand why y'all care at all.

In no way would any other SEC have allowed their coach to leave for a rival program and still coach in the playoffs...

We tried to get Kiffin to stay as our Head Coach, but he knew weeks before he took the LSU job that if he took one, he would not be able to stay on to coach playoffs.

I didn’t care.
I only care that he was demonized for leaving Oxford. He didn’t have a choice.
He’s moved on and plainly no longer gives a shite.

I get it ole miss had too much pride than to use kiffin. In the end it was their choice.

I wanted to see what he could have done with that team. Ole Miss will not get back to that situation for a long time.

Besides, the longer he stays in Oxford, the less time he has at Lsu to do any recruiting. I think Ole Miss fans would have wanted that. Thanks for being a dumbass.

As an LSU fan I’m very grateful that Kiffin wasn’t allowed to coach.

It was a dumb decision on Ole Miss’ part. Killed their chance at a NC.

It was the last token of goodwill because we felt sorry for you. I’m glad he didn’t coach them now. You didn’t deserve him.

He was demonized because he wouldn't leave without throwing a hissy fit and trying to burn it down. He's not used to the word "no".

Hell, he has even admitted he did and does a horrible job with break-ups.

No Ole Miss fan will ever look back and think, damn had we kept Kiffin we would have won the Natty.

Nobody was beating Indiana last year.

We were pumped Golding took over and won 2 playoff games, one of which was SEC Champ Georgia in the Sugar Bowl. That was freakin awesome.

I don’t care. I think it was a stupid call by your admin but it was better for us that he got to work.

Of course no team would have allowed that, it’s crazy to think otherwise

He's taken so many shots at Ole Miss in so many media opps since he left. You can't be serious.

LSU fans are wacko thinking we could have kept Kiffin on for the playoffs. It would have been silly time

Totally incorrect.

Vandy, SC, Missouri, State, KY all would have allowed it if they found themselves in that situation.

I wanted him in BR asap to get to work on the roster and recruiting. I don’t see how it would have worked.

I have never been upset over him not coaching in the playoffs. Not once.

Why do OM fans continue to use the old “he never made the playoff” argument when discussing Kiffin

We all know he built your team and coaching staff and had he simply not taken the LSU job, he would have not only coached in the playoffs but quite possibly led you to a Natty.
