So say in the future coach Saban leaves bama to be the coach at auburn. Does he still receive the honor of being called coach Saban by the bama fans?

I'm unclear why other fan bases give a shite how we refer to the coach of the college football team we cheer for?

I think the real question is..Do you think CNS gives a rip what we call him? I guess it just sounds better, I like to refer to Les Miles as Coach Les Miles it just sounds better I suppose.

Its an issue of respect.
Coincidentally, it drives me cray to hear one of my peers address a college instructors on a first name basis. Heck even a proffessor gets a Dr. from me whenever I mention them.
