LSU wasn't going to hire a young coach let alone a young, biracial coach. Thankfully, they didn't hire him b/c Freeman would've been a homerun hire for them. He'd put a fence around the best kids in Louisiana much like Saban did. All those black single mothers would be lining up to have their kids play for a charismatic, strapping coach.
