Why did the media focus on the Alabama-OSU comparison, instead of Wisky?

I found it interesting that all the talk was that Alabama had a better resume than Ohio State.
Why was nobody talking about the comparison between Alabama and Wisconsin?
Both teams had one loss to comparable opponents (Ohio State and Auburn). Both played shite schedules, their biggest wins were against comparable opponents (LSU and Northwestern - both 9-3).
The biggest difference was that Wisconsin played for a conference championship while Alabama sat home and watched on TV.
Why was all the talk directed towards an Alabama-Ohio State comparison instead of Alabama-Wisconsin?

Because everyone knew Wisconsin wasn't in the same Galaxy as Bama or OSU and it was plain as day. OSU should have won by a min of 3 touchdowns but couldn't stop fumbling the ball.

Because they are football coaches, they have the ability to evaluate film and form an opinion. They all agree Alabama is better

That wasn't the talk. Believe it or not, I think Bama fans are even conceding to the fact that OSU has better wins. The "talk" was about OSU's 31 point loss to Iowa.

Popularity contest. Alabama and OSU are bigger names than Wisconsin. I absolutely agree Wisconsin should've been in the conversation. But they weren't, for the same reason Devin White wasn't in the conversation for the Butkus award. It's sickening, isn't it?

Oh, Bama is allowed a bad game against Auburn (clearly the better team), but Wisconsin, after going 12-0, isn't allowed a bad game against OSU??

I felt the same way. The argument can be made that Wisconsin should have declined the conf. championship game to make the playoffs.

And what would the Ohio State folks say if Wisconsin was chosen before them?...It's obvious to everybody that you (and most of the other coonasses) are a biased hater of Alabama. It only makes y'all appear stupid to continue to grasp for anything in an attempt to belittle Alabama. Cut yourself some slack and move on to something else.....like your upcoming appearance in the Mickey Mouse Bowl down in Orlando.

Also, Wisky's loss to OSU was a hell of a lot better than Alabama's loss to Auburn. Alabama got donkey-fricked at damn near every position vs Auburn. Position to Position, the iron bowl wasn't even close.
That's not what we saw in the Big 10 Championship game. It was just a close game.
