While I congratulate LSU for their win last night, the egos are coming out. Don't think for a moment that Kirby won't have our team ready for you guys in December. Hoping it will be a good game!

That's a great question whizz. We started out playing up tempo ball and were absolutely destroying them.
In the second half we slowed it down, playing possession, to eat the clock. We did this to try and keep our D rested. Unfortunately, Saban slowed it down too and went on 12-15 play drives.
It is the coaching equivalent of Mett kneeling the ball, with 5 minutes left, against Ole Miss, Vandy, UGA, or one of the other insignificant second-tier teams. You never want to kick the wretched too hard when they are down that season.

The gumps composed themselves and picked up some momentum coming out of the locker room and made a run. It's not that hard to understand. They are a damned good team and just didn't play to their potential in the first half. They hit LSU in the chin in the 3rd quarter and LSU didn't back down. They showed their perseverance in the 4th and left with the win.
