Are you really bragging about making your first, and only, final four in school history? Lol

Arkansas has 6. Don’t ever try to compare our two basketball programs, you’ll just embarrass yourself.

I don't think he was comparing programs in the way you did there, more like what team he'd rather be the fan of. Unless you're a fan in your upper-thirties or older, you likely don't remember much of Arky's success. That said, Arkansas indisputably has a better history than Auburn.

Why is this thread still going?

It’s pretty simple...

Desi entered the portal to land somewhere to get his minutes. He knew he wasn’t going to get them at Arkansas and so he transferred. He wanted to commit to AU a couple times but they said no, as he wasn’t a top priority. Plans A and B fell through for AU and Desi’s commitment was accepted.

It’s not rocket surgery.

It’s comical how much Arkansas fans lie to themselves to make them feel better about things they don’t like.

Desi is the only player that played in all 98 games the last 3 seasons for Arkansas. He played 30+ minutes in the most important games in the tourney this last season. Yes, y’all have some talent but don’t act like Desi isn’t good enough to get minutes. He wanted a fresh start and wanted to be unleashed and given more freedom, his words, so he obviously had a problem with the Muss system and how he was utilized.

He was a top priority the moment he entered the portal for Pearl.

Please tell us who was A and B... that we supposedly missed on, since you know so much.

Auburn fans are new to this college basketball stuff but you will learn

Well at least we aren’t old, we have reached the Final Four recently.. when was the last time Arkansas was there? 20 years ago?

You are a little brother to Bama in that as well lmao!

When was the last time Bama made the Final Four?

Seriously, there is no doubt that Auburn, Alabama and Arkansas has had the best off season so far..

Love it when fans of other schools think they know more about a player after 3 minutes of research than a fanbase does after YEARS

Dude, He waited on Auburn to see if others fell through. We are in Arkansas bracephus...

Many of us are a bit more connected and knew this was happening. Desi wants to start period. It has been a while since he started at Arkansas. He saw the writing on the wall following a meeting with Muss.

Freshmen passed him up on the chart... even after those 3 years. He is too small against most SEC Defenses. He is tenacious though, either wildly on, or off...

Loved him for what he was, But he was RE=placed period.

Quote from the auburn board.

Jeff Lee says Sills tried to commit to us two weeks ago, and then again last week. We didn’t accept it either time. He also thinks Sills commits to us tonight. So, there is bad news in there somewhere if we have room for Sills right now .

How long ago? And how many in the SEC..

Y’all had some great seasons when Nolan Richardson was coach but don’t act like you’ve been stellar or feared since.

I like Muss and I think Arkansas will be formidable next season but Auburn will be as well. I could see Jabari Smith drafted in the top 3 in the 2022 draft.

We joined the conference in 92’ and still have more Final 4 appearances than Auburn does.

Just stop.

He was turned down the first two times he tried to commit to Auburn. Somebody must have fallen through for us. He is quality depth. I am sorry you bumpkins can't get that.

Not really. We were simply covering all of our bases. We were interested in TyTy but he wasn’t ready to make a decision and time expired. Bruce loves him some Desi

He's a guy, will be useful at times but won't change anything by leaving or arriving, someone to eat a few minutes a game.

He’s a really streaky shooter. Will go 5/6 from deep one game then go a few weeks without making anything. He dealt with a shoulder injury this year, he was great at finishing through contact against our smaller out of conference teams but SEC teams were just too big and athletic for him at times and if refs weren’t calling fouls he would just recklessly drive into the lane and turn it over.
exactly this.

well if Desi Sills could make a shot we'd have beaten Baylor , and would have a Final Four at least...
