wasn't the first 3 Super Bowl MVP's all QB's from Alabama?
but if you mean more recently, I understand your point. One would figure from our air-attack based offense over the last 20 years that we would have more NFL success, since QB is the only position that wins games, right ?

Well Bart won the 3 championships before they were superbowls, then won the first 2 superbowls, that's 5 championships.

Namath got one and was mvp. Stabler also has one. So yeah, we own this thing called football. So 4 superbowls and 3 mvps of superbowls. And starr has 5 championships all together, which is more than anyone.

I guess Starr, Namath and Stabler - 3 Super Bowl winners don't count?

Of course that's historic and living in the past

Nah, we can't be lucky enough to have a big time winner like Aaron Murray

Murray behind Bama's OL vs McCarron behind UGA's OL

Who has the better numbers in 2012?

I'm guessing Murray. Am I an idiot or am I possibly on to something?

Instead of being offended, take it as a compliment, I'm saying you have a more complete team than anyone else in NCAA. Don't be a douchebag.

Bart Starr is the reason they call awesome athletes stars, and also the reason recruiting services give out 1-5 stars to see how good you are. They want to know how much Bart Starr you have in you.

For the most part I agree. He does a good job of staying out of the way. When asked to make a play though, like on 11/10, he comes up short. There's nothing wrong with that, just accept him for what he is, which is a more hyped Greg McElroy

Well you need to agree with all of it...because it's true....He is indeed more successful at winning what matters than your entire program.

McCarron will be a solid NFL QB IMO.

You are a cool guy.

That shanetheleg guy is not happy about something. Not sure what program he is a fan of, but I'm sure it would explain everything.

So you are going to sit here and try to talk down AJ as a potential NFL QB when your QB has obvious "shortcomings" that will eat him alive at the combine.

Some interesting perspective:

Super Bowl 1 happened in 1967 and was won by Alabama's Bart Star.

Super Bowl 1 is more recent than Ole Miss's last SEC title (1963)

I can't prove this, but it is a great possibility.

My comment works for both of your last post.

That's not very nice. Sorry our opinions differ, you don't have to get personal because I disrespected your precious AJ
