What sucks for Auburn fans is Arky could have easily hired Gus to his dream job but didnt even consider him.

Arky got the better coach.

It doesn't really suck.. Malzahn's recruited most of the players at AU for his system. Bielema is implementing a system he doesn't have players for.. I'd say AU got the better end of the deal. It remains to be seen though, and I'm sure you're trolling.

Win the league (or in the case of Alabama in 2011, just finish second in the division),

I'm not sure a coach has ever took another job to get away from here, ever. At least not since 1958 when Broyles was hired.

Bowden Wyatt took a new Cadillac to Tennessee back in 1954, that would be the last who left here on his own, but he was barely above .500 and may not have lasted a few more years.

So... you have players and a system that completely failed last season, fire that coach to bring in a coach who thinks the same players and system is up to par.

Keep doing the same thing expecting different results.

what?... we've gone back to the system we had previous success with... you know, the type of success you arkansas fans (at least the ones living) don't know, and probably never will?

I think Beilima's a very good coach... I also think Malzahn is a good coach... They both can have success. Who cares who was offered what job?... in 3 months, none of that's gonna matter anyway.

So Cam is leaving the Panthers to play his final season at Auburn next year?

Gundy's last 3 years: 31-8
Bielema's last 3 years: 30-11

Wisconsin has more tradition historically and has had an easier schedule over those 3 years.

Tell me again how Bielema has been so much better than Gundy.

Not a Gundy fan at all, just don't understand the article's point about Bielema being some savior compared to coaches like Gundy. Their track records are basically the same with recent history showing Gundy as more successful.

Beilima was also left a better situation than Gundy... BB will have to do something he's never done before... build a program. Not saying he can't do it, but he has no experience with it.

Most of Fat Bert's experience is in dominating a buffet line and taking skank strippers out of Vegas.

I didn't say he would leave. If Arkansas ends up firmly entrenched in the middle of the SEC pack then he will eventually be fired.

Without Cam, the amount of "success" you've had with either the system or the players has been.

8-5
8-5
3-9

Highly unobtainable for Arkansas.

We will see.

Arkansas hasn't had this type of head coach since Broyles, maybe Holtz. The rest have been control freaks who refuse to make changes when what they are doing isn't working.

He said system, not players. And the system was not part of the 3-9 season.
