He wasn't talking about statistics seeing as neither Mizzou or UGA has played a team with a pulse while Bama has played a top 5 and a a top 20 team already. He was talking about the actual best SEC defense, which is Alabama.

Bama wins because:
1. Give OM credit, they won, but if Bama had played mistake free ball, they win going away.
2. Count number of games against quality teams Bama gave up 5 turnovers and 24 points.
3. Bama's D is very legit and reminds me of a young D that lost to LSU then beat in the Natty.
4. Bama is against the wall the rest of the season. There is no rah rah needed from coaches to let players know about this season. Win or go home.
5. I feel Coker's problem is confidence. I blame Saban for not announcing him as starter even back to the spring! His receivers dropped I believe 5 balls against ULM. ,I just feel he will take off once the confidence sets in.

Really curious to see how this one plays out.

Alabama has an average offensive line, an average QB making his first true road start, a meh secondary, and a shitty kicker.
Yes, they have the best front 7 in the country. But they don't have much else. A good running back (running behind a mediocre line) and a great punter. Average receivers.
