Is Lambert a freshman QB? Saban's kryptonite. Bama fricked.

Lambert can pass which means no stacking the box all night. Chubb finna eat

Meh. Zach Mettenberger played the game of his life against Alabama under the lights at Tiger Stadium. He was throwing it to Odell Beckham and Jarvis Landry and could turn around and hand it off to Jeremy Hill.

They scored 17 points. They came over a year later with the same group of weapons. They scored 17 points again.

Chubb better eat breakfast, because lunch will be hard to come by.

I've seen far too much of this. At this point, the season realistically starts. That South Carolina game looks good on paper only (if that). If you watched, Lambert had tons of time to complete throws into the most Charmin soft of defenses I've ever seen in an SEC matchup.

We don't know anything about this team other than Chubb and Michel are legit. Bama is going to put them and the O-line to the test. Do I think they stop the RBs, no but I do think they do enough to force us into 3rd downs and force Lambert to beat them. I think he can, however, he is also playing in the biggest game of his life and it is just as likely he makes some costly mistakes. I have no idea what the outcome of this game will be as I also don't think that Bama's O is going to have a field day either, so turnovers and third down efficiency on both sides of the ball will be critical. Am hoping to see a fair amount of HUNH with both Michel and Chubb in the game, splitting Michel out as a receiver at times.

Our defense has shown some holes already against pretty bad teams, so that is concerning, though I look at it as teachable/coachable moments for the staff to point out. My major concern with big games for Richt coached teams has been that the team seemed ill prepared for the moment, not focused. There is no excuse this time. This game has been circled since before the season started and at the very least, Ole Miss has exposed some weaknesses which we should be planning around (though it will likely be tough to try and replicate the effects on the Alabama secondary without the three 6'4" much better than average to elite receivers.)

I like what I've seen and heard, but to think we know shite about this UGA team before this game is just foolish. Unproven. Untested. Can't wait to see them tested this weekend. I've struggled through supporting Richt for a long time. This game, while not truly a must win (in terms of this season's aspirations as winning out afterward could still do the trick), is in my opinion a psychological must win for Richt. If not, I feel that he's never going to mentally have the ability to "get the job done" when it counts.

Agreed. No idea what's going to happen and really not sold on anyone in the SEC yet. Maybe LSU. This will kind of give us an idea of where Georgia is at and if Bama can bounce back. Huge weekend for the conference measuring stick

Not a bad team but they look slow

That was one thing that I noticed when I watched them play Ole Miss. They just...looked slow.

just don't see how Alabama goes into Athens and wins this game. Maybe if UGA turns the ball over like Bama did against Ole Miss

Yeah, but if UGA turns the ball over 5 times, Bama's offense gets the ball... and that's where the clown show starts.

This is a tough game to call. Georgia has looked good against some poor competition. Bama had poor QB play and turnover problems.

I think Georgia wins due to QB play. My only concern is can Georgia stop the bama running--short pass game. Bama does not have a reciever that the QB can go to in pressure situations--this is their biggest problem.

Correction. ... Alabama had the 3rd strongest schedule in the country till the west fell apart, and UT realized they had to play 4qts.

Nope, and deep down Bama fans know it. Coker or whoever takes his place look like deers in headlights at home and are not ready. Sims wasn't great but he was a great athlete who could run like hell when pressure came. Coker just thrrows it up for grabs.

Total ignorance. Coker played 5 quarters and had 427 yards passing in his first 2 games.

Coker came in with 5 minutes left in the 2nd quarter and led the team to 33 points in 35 minutes vs. Ole Miss

Coker was 17-31 vs. LMU Sat. but had 8 perfect passes dropped, 2 of them sure TD's.

That is against 2 top 20 Teams. UGA has played no one, and neither has LSU.

You see what you want to see.
