It was more curiosity than 'bitching'. I posted my opinion on the that thread with others and got blasted because the op thought, apparently, that UGA fans only say stuff like that because their football program is on top and we suck at everything else so we have to lash out about it to make ourselves feel better...or something. Some may do that, but I don't. I was just stating a reasonable logic; some folks may say that they only care about football because, (gasp) they only care about football!
But alas...chime in and attack me if it makes you feel better.

Football recruiting and spring practice draws more interest than baseball, even basketball, etc. Football is why the conference is expanding, that millions roll in to the athletic depts, yet people try to project some sort of importance to other sports that isn't there.

I have no idea who you are, but if you’re truly looking for an answer to your OP I don’t think anyone cares at all what sports you do and do not like. You are probably getting shite because you are a drama queen and attention whore (based on this thread alone).

I'm enjoying reading the posts, I even find the insults witty and entertaining. But sorry dude, this one is just dumb. But then I realized you are a UAB fan. I guess that explains your hostility. But you won't have to worry about cheering for your football team much longer my friend. I doubt you even have a team left to cheer for when UGA gets done with them this season.

Did it not occur to you that fans of all those other sports might take offense to those sports being denigrated by what you said? You could have just said "I prefer football to the other sports" and no one would have cared. "I would rather go to the dentist than watch Georgia football" might raise your ire I suspect. I also think if your basketball team was killing it to packed houses and your baseball team was going to Omaha you might force yourself to watch, but I could be wrong.
