Exactly. We lost to Arkansas in the last game of the season in 2007 and people STILL thought we deserved to be in the BSC NC game (we did imo). But suddenly, a team that's only loss came to the number 1 team in the country in OT by 3 points ISN'T worthy?

It's more from the perspective of the other teams. It's not fair to the rest of them.

First, u trollin.
Second, there is a major difference here:
LSU was not going to play Arky in the title game. Or, UK for that matter.
They would be playing the same team that beat them.... at home no less.

Has nothing to do with being worthy. Alabama is as worthy as any other one loss team, but that doesn't mean they are more worthy based on their schedule.

Here's may take. Thousands of LSU fans will be cheering for Okie State to beat Oklahoma so Bama is left out and we can avoid/make fun of them. That's short sighted.
I say beating Bama TWICE carries way more ammo to make fun of them for years to come.

I think most of the people, based on their responses, agree with you. It has more to do with the inherent unfairness of a team that already got beaten getting a do-over. Give that spot to one of the other 1 loss teams who haven't played us.

They are not mutually exclusive so, by definition, you're vision would obviously be more lacking than mine.

Disagreeing with a rematch makes someone afraid?
LSU already beat them.
They didn't win a conference championship.
The revenge/redo factor for the loser is somewhat of an advantage.
I want the easiest route to a national title possible. National title >>>>>> beating Alabama twice in one season.
