in the SEC?

For all the donkey braying about how UGA is an elite school, the graduating students are about as elite as the football team.

Think about it. UGA grads represent the highest percentage of insurance salesmen, coffee baristas, HR associates, Home Depot CSRs, and Enterprise rental clerks among all SEC schools.

Look it’s honest work. But please stop boring us with delusions of superiority about your school or your empty promises that the football season is really different this time.

Just check out our orders in silence. It’s only a matter of time until Lucy pulls away the football and you Charlie Brown UGA fans are flat on your backs with yet another wasted season. We all know it, and deep down you do too.

But cheer up. I hear the timeshare outfits are hiring again.

It could be worse...they could spend their time doing nothing but posting on a free sports site about how others amounted to nothing....

He doesn’t... because it’s not true.

The average starting salaries for both schools is around 55,000 annual.. per payscale.com

But here is the rub... UGA is a lager school; with more liberal arts degrees... Auburn does have a well established Engineering school, where as UGA’s is still developing. The state of UGA really didn’t need another one for a while considering one of the Worlds best was 90 minutes away on the flats.

Auburn’s undergrads are made up of 31% in the fields of Science, Technology, & Engineering. UGA’s is only 11%... however the average starting salary of all graduates is the same... hmmm... and UGA has more graduates... seems to me that the numbers show that UGAs graduates actually make more in the non STM jobs... and only those jobs at a higher salary are able to make up the difference... since UGA has less of those graduates..... I know it’s hard to understand numbers.... but should be pretty simple to understand; it’s easier to get into Auburn than it is to get a REDcard at Target.

Says the Auburn fan who the closest he’s ever been to any university is the 6th grade.
I would offer to sell you some insurance if you owned anything to insure.

The difference is that UGA doesn't have a pharmacy school popping out 100 students a year starting at 135K.

With the destruction of reimbursements by Obamacare, this number will be dropping.

Just stop telling us that your football team and your new graduates are the apotheosis of athleticism and scholarship and we can call it even.

Just get the coffee. Your shifts will be over soon and the UGA grads can get back to that $10/month gym. Maybe today is the day you can impress that 40-something, discarded starter wife with the ex that went to another SEC school. If you’re lucky, this time she won’t have an ironclad prenup. I understand it’s a long shot, but that’s the best prospect to the big bucks for many of you red dirt Georgia baws.

PayScale is interesting, but I wonder how accurate it is. Auburn and UGA were equal starting out, but Auburn was higher at Mid Career giving them an overall higher rank. Auburn was 190 and UGA was 270. Usually engineers start high, but don't move up as much after that. Business grads start low and then increase their salary more later on.

But both pale compare to Tech who was ranked 27.
