Why are the Piggies strutting around claiming an awesome defense?

Georgia did whatever they wanted after putting Bennett in the game, MSU had over 400 yards and held the ball for 36 minutes despite turning it over 4 times (that's almost impossible) and Auburn (who is a mess offensively) had 450 yards averaging nearly 8 YPC on designed runs. If you take out the first two quarters against Georgia they're 10th in defensive efficiency in the SEC.

I see all this talk of their defense "keeping them in every game" and I just don't see it. Outside of stopping a QB who will never play again for two quarters in the season opener and saying "thanks" to KJ Costello for the gifts they haven't done much well. They certainly aren't good enough to consistently make up for Felipe Franks.

Sorry you’re not getting more attention for your win over Florida. Maybe you’ll do better next time out.

For starters Florida, Bama, Ole Miss and Bama have move the bar a good bit lower.

And Bumper Pool is a stud.

Having the best defense in the SEC West this year is a lot like being the smartest kid in special ed.

The first 2 weeks our offense was pure garbage and put the defense in bad situations constantly. Our special teams has been garbage every game so far too.

What the defense has been able to do with what they've been giving is absolutely impressive. But any hog fan will tell you that our defense lacks depth and is capable of being worn down.

The Auburn game was the opposite story. They did whatever they wanted in the first half and got up 17-0. The defense in years past would've probably caved at this point but they made adjustments and held Auburn to 10* points the rest of the game.

Stopped reading here because this isn't true. Arkansas led that game til near the end of the third quarter.

Op is a loser. Worry about your game today, Faggy.

Did you see our defense last year?

Of course we’re happy with the improvements.

Once again, another dumbass Aggie. When your defense is ranked in the 100's the last two years and last year had the worst defense in school history there was no where to go but up. Jesus.

Gifts from Costello? Maybe our defense had something to do with that. State has exactly 400 yards (not over) and had 84 plays. That is 4.8 yards per play. We also stopped State on two fourth downs in the red zone in the 4th qtr.

Only 34% rate on 3rd down conversions (Top 20)
Passing efficiency defense 116.6 (Top 15)
Sounds like decent defense too me. GTFO here with your BS.
