Except that the last time Saban lost an opening game at Alabama was never.

Why is your AD getting outsmarted by other schools?

If you lose your first game of year three years running, maybe YOU’RE the tune game.

Bama, Georgia, Arkansas, Florida didn't get tune-up games. They all won their first games.

Aside from Bama, the other 3 you mentioned played opponents during their first game of the year as well.

this is the 2nd season we've played a P5 team to start the year and they had a tune-up game the week prior.

If you don't see how it's an advantage, then you're just another dumbass arkansas fan

Or you could look at as having a week of actual game footage of your opponent that you could use to game plan with. Where as FSU did not with LSU’s new staff and didn’t know what to expect..

How much more of a tune-up game do LSU fans expect?

They had a 5-7 FSU team who's HC's arse was on the hot seat + played a night game in LSU's home-away-from-home stadium + had a full week of game film to study and prep.

Florida state got 2 tuneup games already and LSU didn't get any.

FSU would have been a "tune-up" game for any other SEC west team

I don't know if it would have made a difference, but it would not have hurt.

I don't get though how this was billed as a kick off team with one team already having played a game.

I kind of follow you guys now. I didn't know FSU scheduled the week 0 game as an after thought after agreeing to a "kickoff" styled game.

Florida State scheduled Duquesne in February 2021. LSU had nearly 18 months to prepare for this game. Quit making excuses for your shitty performance and come to grips with the fact LSU is just downright average (at best).

I mean, LSU has won just 11 of its past 24 games. The evidence is staring you clearly in the face, but Tiger fans just won't open their eyes.

It was billed as a kick off game because it was a the only game airing on Sunday night of the official opening weekend of College Football.

Prime time TV slot at night in the Super Dome with LSUvFSU deserves top billing IMO.
