Because no five star recruit that wants to get paid now and be a star wants to sit the bench for 3 years and wait when they can go to another school and get it now

Everyone else will be worked up over NIL in a few years after they realize this stuff will help Bama more than anyone else. There will never be a level playing field in college football.
