Texas A&M, Auburn and Missouri are all compelling home games. The change is coming, we have scheduled future home and homes with Texas and Notre Dame. I'm sure more quality matchups are coming.

Besides Coach Saban wanted to go to a 9 game conference schedule. The rest of the SEC said "no"

There's really no reason to argue with LSU fans at this point. The schedule thing is all they have right now. Then they'll take their arse kicking on 11/3 and find something else to whine about.

we play the same 7 teams every single year. that leaves 5 teams. 1 of those is cross conference opponent leaving 4. we schedule 1st games years in advance. When the Lousisville game was scheduled it would have been Lamar Jacksons senior year.

I'm sorry but your schedule is almost as embarrassing. Stop thinking Miami is a descent team, they aren't.
Whatever makes you feel better.

I think you lost focus. This isn't about me, it's about you. You think Miami is a good team, they aren't. They will not win their conference, they will go to a bowl game. Congrats.

I have a wonderful grasp on it. Again, Miami isn't that good. I know it's what you have right now and congrats on being 5-0. However, you have a slightly better than average defense (Weak at safety), and a completely average offense. You likely have 2 losses coming.

SOS isn't going to help LSU when they face Georgia and Bama. Hell they barely beat Auburn. I don't think LSU fans actually watch football. They are not that good.

I really think LSU fans are trying too hard to justify being 5-0.
What? Why would we try to justify a fact?

Maybe stop trying to think.

I think honest Bama fans wish the schedule was a little better, but that overall we feel pretty good about the season.

LSU fans, on the other hand, seem deeply upset and sensitive around this issue. It’s almost as if they know their season is going to crumble apart soon and they feel the need to line up the excuses now. Hmmmm.

What happened the last time Georgia and Alabama played at Auburn again?

using schedules to justify accomplishments

In what way should college football fans quantify wins if not comparing who they have played and whether or not they won or lost?

“I’ve noticed that Kentucky has started off the season more successfully than usual at 5-0. I’ve also noticed that my beloved Cardinals have limped to a 2-3 start. Therefore, I’m desperately trying to dismiss or at least discount the former and explain the latter.”

Got that fixed right up for ya.

Lol its funny because you clearly don't watch our games. You look at the score. Lsu at its best dominated miami and auburn. Then they stopped giving full effort. This team has motivation issues, not talent issues.

They know that the l7u game will be a statement game,
if they are still ranked by then.

Saban will unleash
Tua on them, and this scares the shite outta of them.

l7u ranks # 79 in passing yards allowed, yea they should be scared.

It's smart scheduling.

That's the whole point, it's not "smart scheduling" if you want people to actually attend the games.

Saban isn't going to put himself at a competitive disadvantage

Yeah, Saban's scared of being at a competitive disadvantage with 5 of the last 9 national championships. You think he's really that much of a pussy?

I mean, he's been there for 12 years, why is he acting like he's still trying to establish his program?

No, "they" aren't, just Auburn - which the fans have to wait ALL freaking season to watch.

There's no two ways around it, Alabama 's home schedule is TERRIBLE, and I don't blame the fans for being indifferent.

You don't have to convince me, you have to convince season ticket holders that the entertainment will be worth the cost of admission.

To be fair Bama didn’t know it was going to be defending national champion when that game was scheduled. Statistically was only about a 50/50 chance.

Jesus, y'all are all just a bunch of pussies.

Alabama has a 90% win rate over the last TEN years.

NO ONE wants to watch Alabama play the Citadel, why schedule it? Worse yet, why schedule it, and then bitch about how there's no fan interest?
