LSU fans have taken a story without any facts and ran with it. Why can't people expect the same from LSU? Stanley McClover is admitted that Auburn paid him and LSU booster gave him cash as well. Do you get to pick and choose the facts that you like? The story on yahoo about PP getting paid claims to have had multiple sources but we can just refute the entire story? Its the culture of the NCAA to pay players at big time programs, just accept it.

Sorry, there is only one Cecil Newton ( not counting the four armed robbers, the 4 former players ratting you out on a resepected National sports show and more than a few boosters/board of trustees under federal indictments)

Did I miss a story in the media frenzy over PFP? I thought it was one coach who didn't report it to his head coach that someone not in PP7's family shopped him out...not that he was actually paid.

Well he claims that he got a $500 handshake in Baton Rouge. That is all I am going off of. I don't pick and choose parts of someones interview that I like.

I was referring to pay for play and that other schools are being brought into the spotlight.

That may be the first comment you have ever made that I understood and thought was logical.

LSU did not recruit him, he was at a camp in BR .. if you walk up to me today and press 5 $100 dollar benjamins in my palm....I will take them. Further, no questions asked....

Auburn is the most corrupt program in the history of the SEC, we are tied with Vandy for the least amount of infractions, they should not even be allowed on the same playing fields as LSU.

I honestly didn't know people like that existed until I got an account after CamGate broke. To this day very few of them can see even a sliver of truth. Its pretty amazing and funny.

FWIW - I dont post there as the over/under on being banned is 3 posts.

It has, however made me appreciate the whole hated rival thing ..LSU obviously has nothing close to that no.... matter how much the Hawgs would like it to be that way.

I'm not really certain if an official offer was ever made or not. But, there is an article on Rivals stating that Jimbo visited him at his high school and said that he was going to recruit Stanley really hard.
