The more physical team won. Alabama by the middle of that fourth quarter wanted no part of Georgia on either line of scrimmage. If that game goes another quarter Georgia wins by at least 4 touchdowns.

Georgia's running backs finished with 170 rushing yards and Alabama's running backs finished with something like 50 and 30 rushing yards if you include sacks.

No team that finished with 32 yards rushing doesn't deserve to win any game, let alone the frigging national championship game!

Remember when Auburn blew out Georgia in Jordan-Hare and then Georgia returned the favor in the SEC title game? Georgia was better than them the entire season outside of that one night and they proved it the second time.

Same thing that happened last year with Bama. Georgia was clearly the most consistent team all year and blew out teams that Bama almost lost to. Georgia just had a bad night the first game and went back to who they were all year the second game. Georgia also overcame injuries and their backups were higher quality than Bama’s.

As noted earlier, you are still seeing excuses because you are apparently searching very hard for them and ignoring everything else.

Is this the thread that will allow UGA fans to get over the fact that they have not won a NC and the SEC in the same season in over 40 years?
