2 of the last 3 times Auburn has been ranked in the top 10 in preseason, they have finished unranked. I understand you only have 3 total arguments, but you need to drop this one. Under Richt, we typically finish around where we start the rankings (Outside 2008).

Very good o-line, best running back in the nation, strong defense and special teams. The only question mark is QB.

You have let Missouri win the east the last two years. That alone is proof of Georgia's underachieving.
If we were Georgia fans, you would never hear the end of the injury and suspension excuse to explain last season given that we had 4 or 5 key players miss games for those reasons

I can understand the hype, Pruitt is the best DC in the Division and Richt is the best de-facto OC in the Divison. It's no coincidence that FSU's unbelievable streak of top 5 finishes ended when Richt went to UGA and Bobby had to get a new OC.
Plus they are loaded with talent and lots of it.

Polls seem to have us where we often are, so I don't see it as a lot of hype. I don't think they take schedule into account, nor should they when discussing preseason polls.
