I would have been ecstatic to get Kiffin or Leach at Arkansas. Pittman came out of left field but he was exactly what Arkansas needed after Bret and Chad

Pittboss had the least to work with and has gotten every ounce of football out of his players!

Leach had the second less of the three to work with and he too, is getting the players to buy in and give all they've got!

Kiffin has a little more to work with than the others have.. still, he's rallied a team that wasn't going anywhere during M. Luke's reign!

So, Pittman,leach & kiffin in that order!

Simple facts are, he’s by far the best recruiter of the 4 and by the end of the year will have a better two year record than all but Kiffin.

I'm going to say that in looking at the competition vs rosters vs results and I have to go with Leach Pittman, and Kiffin.


Reasons:

1- Kiffin goes to the bottom due to the excess losses due to his coaching. The 4th and long go for it's are not the decisions of a great coach. He inherited the best roster of the 3.


2- It's close between Pittman and Leach. I like Pittman. I place Pittman 2nd only because Leach did more with what he had.


3- Leach took a team that was ranked in the very bottom of the NCAA in passing and put them in year 1 top 20 in production. It has nothing to do with "they throw it 50 times". They threw it before Leach. They just could not complete it. How do you take a 110th ranked passing team only completing 50ish% of their passes and go top 20? He then improved on that. They are top 4.


Again.. It's not throwing it more. It's completing it at a high rate! Leach lost 4 games so far. 3 of those are by 3 points or less. Leach is that close to being 9-1 right now.

And? This board is mostly full of morons. Most have an irrational hatred of Mizzou. People don’t like Drink for a myriad of reasons, and Pittman, Leach and Kiffin are all liked by people in SEC country.

If you look at the objective measures it’s pretty clear, but hey…if you want to go by the hur dur Harry Potter school of evaluation then by all means.
