Total YPG:

Burrow - 402.63
Newton - 309.11

Total TDs:

Burrow - 65
Newton - 50

Makes sense.

So the guy with the best stats is the best? Is that what you are saying

Burrow was good but he was no Newton. Dont be stupid

Yes, the guy with the better stats had the better season.

You're right. He was better.

This isn't about who's more talented, it's about who had the better season.

The answer is still Burrow.

No, its about who was the best. Not who had the best stats

Best single year - Cam

If you're arguing stats - maybe. There were some guys, like Burrow this year, that could top that.

Now, if you're arguing "difference maker" - yea, I think I'd agree with you. I honestly feel kind of robbed as a college football fan that we only got to see him play one season

As an all around College QB’s career you have to take into account what they bring/ brought to the table. Running, passing, leadership, etc. To me other QB’s were/are better than the MIGHTY J. Burrow.

Cam as an example willed Auburn to a championship pretty much by himself. Tebow lead by example and gave everything he had mentally and physically to the game and expected the same from his teammates.

No slight to J. Burrow. He’s a good player also. Don’t try to be so narrow minded that you can’t see the big picture. If you feel that he’s the best then that’s ok also. A lot of these other QB’s brought more to the game and for a longer time.

What does team record have to do which how QB played. Some good QBs on some bad teams and some bad QBs on some good teams

True. But as an example. Auburn wouldn’t have won the championship without Cam. True? That gives the impression that as a QB he was pretty damned good.

I’m not choosing one over the other. Ok, I guess if I had to choose I liked what Tebow and Cam brought to the table over others.

You think LSU wins one without Burrow? Possible, but unlikely.

I do love how the primary argument for Cam in this discussion is you have to ignore the actual numbers.

Tebow far and away the GOAT for total career. Burroughs for season.

As far as Burrow and Newton (Single season) is concerned. I’d say Cam did more with less.

Alright. Burrow did a lot more, period. It really is quite simple. Facts support Burrow. Opinions support Cam
