It will be interesting to see if Tennessee really does try to fire Pruitt for cause. That usually doesn't go over very well

I love a Vol coaching search but under NCAA investigation it will likely be a very boring hire.

I agree and have wanted Pruitt back for a while, but just playing devil's advocate here, how much has the game changed offensively since he was a DC in 2017?
I recall him getting heralded for being able to counteract the spread (especially versus Kirby), but I wonder what he would bring against the offensive explosion of the past few years that hardly anyone seems to be able to stop?
To be clear, I still want to see him back, but just curious what he could do differently.

They have to get rid of Fulmer and get a true professional AD in there. Too great of a historical program to meander through the desert like they have been.
