I love Mullen. He's a great guy IRL. To Ole Miss, he can be a real jerk, but it gets the fans going and team pumped up. You can't hate a guy that realizes he has a realistic chance of beating ya'll and plays it up.

He was a dick at UF. He is a dick now. He will be a dick wherever he ends up.

Pox has met him, but I'm sure you know him better than her or her connections to State.

Meh. I think a lot of Mullen is just how he wants the fans, team and other people to perceive him. I think he knows how to play his cards even if it doesn't always do it well.

Out of all of the coaches I met, I like Coach Hevesy the most. That man sounds like he smokes 2 packs of Marlboro Red's a day. Just carrying on a short conversation with him, he'll intimidate the heck out you. I wouldn't want to imagine what he is like at practice or on the sidelines.

Thanks, NIH.

He really is a down to earth family guy. His wife and him treat all of the players like their own family. Talking to him in a 'normal' setting and not in a media related or gameday setting, he is a completely different guy.

Not really. LSU basically just feels like the SECW is one big rivalry. Everybody wants to beat them in the worst way. At one time Ole Miss and Tulane were hated rivalries on both sides, however that passion cannot be sustained when the series become so one-sided.

This. I don't want to jinx anything by saying LSU doesn't consider the Mississippi schools a threat, but I don't expect my girlfriend to speak to me for a while after we see LSU play in Oxford. LSU's current streak vs. MSU speaks for itself.

Maybe it's because you were a dick and maybe he is nice to me because I don't have one.

Well played.

He was still short and unpleasant with people including myself from what I observed. Anyway... Y'all love him. Nobody else does. Agree to disagree.

NIH: Yeah it was at some dinner to introduce the new staff.
