Weve already talked about this. Cam doesnt win the MNC without Fairley.

All this "qb = championship" talk makes me feel like I'm forgetting the title that JFF won??? Clowney was responsible for wins over Tennessee, Michigan, Clemson and played a huge role in UGA. The two games we lost, JFF also lost. In the above games it was a big defensive play by an elite athlete that won those games.

They say Fairley doesn't win the championship without Cam.

No one player on a defense can make that much of a difference. Clowney is a rock hard badass, but the QB position is the most powerful position on the field. This is a stupid comparison because it's apples to oranges. If I had a really good QB already, I would probably take Clowney. Otherwise, the position is not nearly as important.

I'd take either.

I have yet to figure out why so many threads on this board are about rankings/who's better/lists/etc. Folks are always so hesitant to give cred where it's due. It's interesting.

I'd bet that most coaches would be happy to have Manziel or Clowney on his squad.

Mt. Cody says howdy.

So does CJ Mosely.

And Marcel Dareus.

Nice pic of sCam. And that quote above that huge fricking pic of him should read:

quote:

Defense and a running game will win Championships, before a bought and paid for QB will.

Cotton > Outback

If I'm not mistaken Johnny's team finished ranked higher than Clowney's

Johnny's team lost to UF and LSU by a combined 9 points.

Clowney's team lost to UF and LSU by a combined 35 points.

Best win on Johnny's resume is #1 Alabama. Clowney has nothing on that.

THIS. I guess I'll vote in this sham election. I cast my vote for Manziel.

But no more serious answers, Kaiser. This is a flame thread.

This is my exact reasoning behind pick Johnny Manziel.

We have to remember that he touches the ball every single play. He always has a chance to make some type of impact.

No, y'all are just being sensitive. Can't speak for the other schools, but it would be downright stupid for UGA to take Manziel over Clowney. Period.

Clowney and it's not even close

The dude was NFL ready 2 years ago. He's a goddamn monster of a human being.

Sorry, I have only engaged in discussion, aside from joking around with gnarkill.

You have not seen me throwing out "Gump, Bammer, Aubarn, Barner, $Cam, Corndog, Volunqueer, Nick Satan, Gaytor," or anything of the like. I guess you have me mistaken with someone.

It's a team sport.
And on his team defense, they gave up more points and more yards than when Clowney was a part time player as a freshman.

IE. his 13 sacks in only 8 of his 13 games didn't make his defense better. they just garnered the attention of the 4 letter network. the hype machine is a powerful thing.
