The qb position is the most important position on the feild. One saying he would take a defensive player over a really good qb show how little he knows about the game of football.

Were talking college football, not NFL. That settles nothing. We all know Clowney is the better NFL prospect as of right now.

DE's project much easier, so it can be easier to get solid play there. QB is more of a crapshoot, so I pick the proven thing at QB.

Think about this-
JFF is a better quarterback than both Murray and McCarron, by most parameters.
JFF finished 3rd in his division. Murray and McCarron won theirs.

I'd say playmaker, before I'd say better QB. McCarron did lead the nation in pass efficiency last year.
He also led JFF in passing yards per attempt and passing TD's and had less INT's.
