Pretend higher seeds have home field for first round, then neutral sites (same as CFP)
I believe the byes were based on the highest ranked teams left from each conference
Would you prefer this over bowls?

Probably be between Bama and USCe.
BYU and Colorado wouldn't have anything for Sellers.

I'm taking SC over Bama in the final.

USCe and Colorado would be fun to watch.

You might get some pushback on this one if this thread has lasting power

They demolished us in our own stadium.

I'd like all the bowls to be matched up like that, but winning a football NIT? Nah, I'm good.

Ohhhh, I wouldn't worry too much about it. I love pushbacks. I push back harder!

Yeah I meant more along the lines of making the non-playoff games exciting again. I think it would be fun, but definitely not a trophy worth bragging about

Well, any trophy we get is worth bragging about

I would! Currently bowls mean nothing and anyone with potential skips them. It would be fun to watch, imho!

I honestly think it would come down to Alabama/Ole Miss v SCAR.

Alabama already beat USC, and Kiffin would blow it going for it on 4th down against either in a big game.

Let's be honest, Gamecocks would fall on their faces somewhere before the finals.

my final four based on those brackets:
1) Syracuse
2) Ole Miss
3) South Carolina
4) Iowa State
Championship game is
Iowa State vs Ole Miss
Ole Miss wins it all

I’m assuming this would take place on a neutral field. We may have beaten SCAR but we never know what we’re going to get from Milroe. Also, Proctor will be out for the bowl and we’re down to only 4-5 scholarship recievers.

Great topic but seeding is wrong. South Carolina beats Miami in the finals.
