Today's players need to watch Wilkins and take notes on how he cocks the ball to the back or side to avoid blocks. No one does it now a days.

Dominique Wilkins
Nothing to debate...
He was one of the best dunkers of all time, in the same league as MJ, Doctor J, Connie Hawkins and George Gervin. The contest for 2nd best out of the SEC would be epic. Dupree and Thomas would represent the Tigers. Shaq is the king of rupturing backboard stanchions fwiw.

The answer is Dominique Wilkins.
It's not close.

Brandon Dean must have been a Hog, he was already listed by two Hog fans and not another fanbase has mentioned him.
Brandon wasn't a big time player so the average SEC fan would have no clue who he was. He was however the two time SEC tournament MVP and won the Slam Dunk championship his senior year. He was a 6'1 guard with a 40" vertical that played on the last of Nolan's teams. He could absolutely jump through the roof. I had the chance to go watch him in practice a few times and I have never seen a better dunker in person before.
Obviously Dominique is the real answer but Dean has to be included in the rankings.

Alonzo Gee

Tony Mitchell
Gerald Wallace???
he played one year... what do you really remember about him dunking in Bama games...? He was 6'7 the other's are 6'5 or shorter... and played much longer but he has ridiculous hops so i'll include him.
Gee had this 360 dunk that we he turned completely around he stopped and looked at the goal before throwing it down... Gee was special... he had the more sexy dunks like windmills and stuff during games.
GEE 360
