Agreed. Gonna be a classic SEC game that will be won in the trenches.

Has anybody besides LSU fans chose LSU in this thread? The Alabama fan who judging by his name is from Louisiana?
Your schedule after those first 2 losses featured no ranked teams, and you still managed to have a few close games. This year, you'll still have tough tests in LSU and Florida. Additionally, an SEC East team may play you closer than you expect. Tennessee, Vanderbilt, and/or Kentucky are due for an upset soon.
I have chosen neither team. I acknowledge that both team have a bunch of unanswered questions, but from a pure talent and coaching perspective, they both have a great shot at this game.

Auburn and Georgia Tech did not finish the season ranked; those were the games I was referencing. You were blown out by LSU and lost to Michigan State, so what's the point in mentioning them?
You won 10 straight against teams whom finished unranked then proceeded to lose your next two games against teams whom'd finished the season ranked.

I think Georgia wins the battle at the LOS
If we lose a game all year it won't be because we lost the LOS. Our O-line will be a monster and the D-line will be the same.
I don't think we lose a game all year and Cam Cameron will be the reason why.

You're entitled to your opinion, but I'd never make a prediction like that.
You've got many tough games on your schedule. It's easy to see LSU dropping a few games. There's not enough information to think that this team will go undefeated. There are too many unforeseen things and unanswered questions.

1) you said our schedule had no ranked teams, and it did, so stfu.
2) that arguments is horrible. Yea they didn't finish the season ranked because we curbstomped them.

1. You lost to all the teams that finished the season ranked; two of the losses weren't close.
2. Additionally, those teams lost their next game. Nice try though.

And they were unranked after we were finished with them, before they lost their next game.
Nice try though.

Why are you defending those wins? Both teams were unremarkable. If you can't finish ranked in the ACC, then you suck. Auburn was blown out by all legit opponents except for South Carolina.
You can argue all you want, but your schedule was considerably weaker between Game 2 and the SEC Championship.

I'm not really defending them, I'm just proving a point that you're kind of a moron.
I'm still eager to hear about how South Carolina is going to be significantly better this season than last.

Yeah, when you resort to unwarranted and baseless insults, that sounds warning sirens.

I'm not expecting another blowout. South Carolina is a totally different beast at home. I don't follow players and recruiting closely for any team. How can you reasonably expect Georgia to be better? Their defense took a step backwards last season, and the team has has had little success against highly ranked teams the past few seasons. I honestly don't feel like talking about South Carolina. I don't follow your program or theirs closely enough. I hear the buzz though. South Carolina's offense is expected to be better than last year's. Georgia's defense is an unknown, but South Carolina put up 28 points on your defense last season before calling off the dogs.

I'm sure Mett will be tremendously motivated and may even have too much adrenaline for this game, returning to play his only SEC game at the school where he originally enrolled.
LSU has been a pretty solid road team for the most part in the SEC in recent years, but the games are usually tight. This one should also be.
We'll obviously know more the week prior to that game.

I'm not worried about LSU's defense, even though we lost a ton. I'm sure we have another set of freaks ready to fill the gap.
Georgia probably will do the same on their defense, although I think over the past few years, LSU has had a slightly better defense than Georgia has.
That said, Georgia has the much better offense, both for the past few years, and going into this year.
LSU consistently has some of, if not the, best special teams play in the nation. Special teams is the only thing I worry about less than defense.
It's going to be close either way, but if Georgia wins, it will be because of their offense, and if LSU wins, it will probably be because of special teams.

You don't follow out program yet you're all up in a thread about Georgia making predictions and assumptions that are apparently based on nothing.
And yeah we lost a good bit to the draft. I'm honestly not worried about that though. Jarvis is almost irreplaceable bc of the the way he made plays, forced turnovers, and had a knack to make clutch plays. Jordan Jenkins could end up being a better pure pass rusher than Jarvis when all is said and done.
Our two safeties will be tough to replace and we're definitely thin there, my biggest worry going in to the season. Tray Matthews is going to start and from everyone out of Athens they're saying he's going to be special. He's still a freshman though. I assume JC transfer Shaq Fluker will fill the other strong safety spot but he has no sec experience.
We have holes to fill but and we don't have the star power but I think that will be beneficial. I see our defense playing more as a unit and not a gathering of super stars out there padding stats. Many in the UGA camp fel this as well.

Earlier you said it was time for UT, Vandy, or UK to upset us. If it's not reasonable for us to make up enough ground to beat USCe how can you reasonably say Vandy can upset UGA when we beat them 49-7.

Well technically we beat them 48-3 but his point stands
