I think the Clemson game was a really good foreshadowing for this years club.

1) offense basically either went three and out or scored a touchdown. Still bunch of big plays but Milton isn’t as accurate so we won’t be as consistent

2) defense will give up yards due to our style but the defensive talent is improving a lot. Beasley has improved so much at LB and the defensive line is so deep, playing a ton of plays won’t wear us down.

3) we will continue to stretch defenses. Milton can probably throw it in the end zone from the other 20. Just gonna tell Squirrel White and Thornton to run 60 yards and turn around for the ball. Bru McCoy will continue to handle the physical/intermediate part of the game.

It’s the SEC, 7-5 or 8-4 is not out of the question if Milton struggles. I predict 9-3. Loss to UGA, Bama and probably A&M or SC. With Heupels style, we have a higher floor than most because we can always score. Teams with bad offenses can’t keep up and if you bust in the secondary against us it’s a touchdown.

Other than LSU abandoning Spicy Neyland it wasn’t even a blip.

yep lol we beat bama, UF, and Clemson in the Orange Bowl and bro thinks a team we play once every 6 years (and have a 21-10-3 record over) is our "super bowl"

Nobody's ever accused LSU fans of being smart

Yeah I think the Vols will be solid going forward. Milton has a rocket launcher arm

Neither Hyatt or Hooker played when we whooped Clemson in the Orange Bowl. Top to bottom this team will be more talented than last years. Finally done with the Butch recruits.

Squirrel White is def. gonna ease the pain of losing Hyatt. He did most of the latter half of the season. We also have Bru coming back and the Oregon transfer. Tillman is a loss but it feels more like we lost him last year since he got injured so early in the season. WR is one position where I'm not worried.

No one talks about it but our biggest loss other than QB is on OL and DL.

They screwed…..

How you figure? Did you see what Tennessee done to Vandy and Clemson without Tillman, Hyatt and Hooker? Tennessee has the deepest Wr room in the SEC. And if Joe Milton plays like he did against Clemson, then the fall off will be minimal. It’s not like we are breaking in a brand new QB. This will be Milton 3rd year in Josh Huepels system. Everyone forgets that we was the starter for 3 games before he got hurt and Hooker took over and never gave it back.
