My guy is getting us there look at what all he had to overcome.
Heupel didn’t walk into Tennessee with a ready made team give him another year and you will see.
Anyways explain this weird obsession yall have with aTm?
I think they have a solid team that next year will be competing for a championship.
Kelly just isn’t a good coach in my opinion sorry if that hurts your feelings

I love these takes. Kelly never beats anyone according to this board. Either we lose or the opponents beat themselves.

It's actually hilarious that you say Kelly is trash when he has a better win percentage than your guy.

Heupel has a 30-12 record at Tennessee 2 wins vs Bama and a win against LSU and their Heisman winning QB
So why all the hate? He turned a program completely around in 2 years and is still building.

I don’t think his percentage is any better what quality wins does he have?

I'm not hating

You literally said Kelly is "trash" and a "bad coach" even though he has a better winning percentage than your coach.
What does that make Heupel?

That doesn't surprise me. You also thought Tennessee beat LSU 44-13 and that Heupel beat a Heisman winning quarterback.

Kelly will retire after winning the natty in 26 season.
Elko will be around for a while making the playoffs every few years.

? Jayden was your starter for the 40-13 beating in Dead Valley. Unless you are suggesting it just wasn’t “that year,” that he won the Heisman.

Elko's got 3 and he's in year 1 right now.
Kelly I'm not sure.

Kelly will be gone in 3 years or less. LSU will realize he is not a championship caliber coach.

Elko has done a fantastic job considering what ATM was living with with the con man in College Station. I don't have any idea how long he stays at ATM but losing to South Carolina in that environment, while lamentable, is not unheard of....
Seriously, Columbia South Carolina at night is waaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy under rated as a place road teams go to die.....ATM ain't the first nor the last to experience it.

It wasn't that year.
It's dishonest to say you beat a Heisman winner when the guy was fairly average the year you played him and then won the Heisman the following year.

Kelly sticks around probably as long as he wants. That ain't what most LSU fans want to hear but stability in the program, even if it does not mean winning natty's, is not overly risky. Winning 10 games a year and occasionally making the SECCG and the CFP is faaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrr better, in the long term, than another Coach O experience. Tennessee's demise, despite being in the rear view mirror by all appearances, never the less did take place....it should serve as a sober reminder of what casting about for answers in times of plenty will get you.....

I would lean Elko, just because he was always gonna have 3-4 years and if he can finish this one with 10+ wins he’d buy himself a lot of goodwill early on.
Kelly will likely have LSU at 9-12 wins consistently so the main question is when will tiger fans get tired of him if he doesn’t win a national championship? I don’t foresee him having a 6-6 disaster type of season but I have a feeling lsu wants him out if he hasn’t won one by the next couple of years.

Is this what the younger folks are talking about when they mention "cope"? I think I'm catching on.
