I think it's easy to predict that SC will have the Best Pitching staff in the SEC next year.
RHP - Clark Schmidt - All American and All SEC returning Pitcher.
RHP - WIl Crow - Fr All American and Fr All SEC in '14. Former TN Gatorade POY and All American. Sat out part of '15 and all of '16, but will be back.
RHP - Adam Hill - Fr All American and Fr All SEC in '16
RHP - Tyler Johnson - NCAA Regional MVP & All-Tournament Team, totally dismantled a Top5 UNCW hitting team in his first career start, pitching a complete game.
RHP - Brandon Murray - Rated No. 19 best prospect in the SEC for 2017 by D1Baseball. Former HS All American. '14
RHP - Cody Morris - Former HS All American '15 and MD Gatorade POY, and will likely get a look as a weekend starter.
RHP - Reed Scott - Returning Sr Reliever with the most appearances this past season.
LHP - Rian Haire - PG All American in '16, probably will have a chance to earn starting role. Power Lefty throwing in the mid 90's as a Sr in HS. Most likely will be Fr All SEC like Webb and Hill before him.
LHP/Closer - Sr Josh Reagan - Led the SEC in Saves last year. NCBWA Stopper of the Year, College Baseball Hall of Fame National Pitcher of the Year Award Watch List Award, Former HS All American.
SC is loaded on the mound next year, anyone else come close?

If Poche stays maybe us. I was disappointed last year though. I thought we would have done much better.

LSU
Alex Lange
Caleb Gilbert
Jake Latz
Doug Norman
Austin Bain
Alden Cartwright
Hunter Newman
Hunter Kiel
Zachary Hess
Todd Peterson
Cole McKay
Russell Reynolds
Possible Jared Poche
A lot of "potential" left to be met there (Latz, McKay) but pretty solid. I will concede they underperformed this past season relative to talent and hype.

I know these are a lot of "ifs" but, if Poche comes back, Lange gets back to freshman level production, and Latz recovers and performs as expected, that's a tough 3 starter combo to beat.

A&M returns its entire rotation.
Hill 9-2, 2.51, .234
Simonds 11-3, 2.61, .218
Larkins 3-0, 2.51, .221
Plus we return Killkenny (2-0), Kolek (3-0), & Sherrod (1-0).

Looks like we won't see any football scores in SEC baseball next year....

That could be the team then. That's a good squad.
The 2 guys we haven't shown anyone yet are Haire and Morris. Morris was an absolute stud who turned down good $ last year from the Orioles to come to SC. He had TJ surgery over a year ago, but everything in his rehab has gone according to plan. Haire is another big power lefty we're bringing in who will have a chance at a starting job, or 2nd Closer behind Reagan from the get go.

I don't know about complete staff, but SEC pitching as a whole should be pretty damn strong.
Alex Lange, Alex Faedo, Tanner Houck, Tyler Johnson, Kyle Wright, and Zach Warren are all pitching for Team USA this summer.

No doubt. The surge for Tyler Johnson late in the season for us was a great surprise. He had a good season as a reliever/closer, but that one game against UNCW where he picked them apart put him over the top to get that Team USA invite.
