Arkansas has been coached better, without a doubt, since the year 2008 (save 2010, maybe).

Arky has been coached better, other than 2010. But we have had more "raw talent"

Are you guys fricking serious? You really think the only reason you won the game in 2010 was because of better coaching?

Does a guy named Cam ring a bell?

Let it be known that the only reason that Auburn was able to win one out of the past five games against Arkansas is because Chizik is a good coach. TT's Towel and Lanier just admitted that.

All joking aside, it's clear that your "coaching always trumps raw talent" argument doesn't work for 2010 because Cam's raw talent was the reason you won the game. So you twist it to fit your argument by giving the credit to Chizik.

23 in 2009, 65 in 2010, and 14 in 2011 by Auburn. Gus Malzahn's offense averaged 35 PPG in those 3 years. Bobby Petrino's offense just demolished whatever kind of defense Auburn trotted on the field. THAT is what lost the games, not Willy Robinson owning Gus Malzahn. That's just flat out retarded.

So when he held Malzahn's offense to 23 and 14 points, that wasn't the defense holding Auburn below their average? You don't need a Petrino offense to beat a team that only scores 14.

No...I'm not a Bammer!!!!
But you sound enough like Tammy to me to possibly be Tammy so I'm gonna not call that shot...fair enough?

...and BTW, I wouldn't know that you sound like Tammy if I didn't listen to Finebaum. He's a pretty good guy...don't you agree?

Here's to you Tammy...

BTW Tammy...don't you worry your sweet self about anybody calling you any names like "alter" or whatnot.

Kiehl Frazier was a 5 star recruited specifically for Malzahn's offense so I don't know what you're talking about.

If you look, I'm sure you can find the threads by Auburn fans where he was going to be the next Cam.

I really think 7th place in the West is between MSU and Arkansas this year. I could see Auburn finishing 4th. Hell, maybe even 3rd if Manziel never sees the field and aTm collapses

This.

I was done with this thread, but I'm just going to add this:
quote:

So when he held Malzahn's offense to 23
Todd overthrew Zachary by a yard or two on what would've been a TD. And Tate fumbled on the goalline. That's 37 points if not for bad breaks in a game where we literally couldn't get a single good break
quote:

and 14 points
You held an offense that lost almost every starter, with an incompetent OL, the only good WR injured, and a QB who would be benched the next week to 14? At home? I'm not impressed.

I expect Auburn to be quite a bit better than Arkansas

Wow, all that talent. I'm guessing they got injured and benched because they were so raw.

Thanks Tammy. And I haven't been called a nice boy in probably 25 years. I had to do the math.

Or they were freshman or not on the team yet

As much as it pains me to say, Auburn will be better than Arkansas, and by quite a bit, but still not anywhere close to a contender for the West.

Going off of stars, Auburn is really not that much more talented than arkansas on offense.

QB is about even, with both teams having a 3* and 4* QB (Brandon Allen, Nick Marshall; Austin Allen, Jeremy Johnson) likely in the 2 deep.

RB Arkansas has a 4* and 5* while Auburn has a 4* and 3* (Jonathan Williams, Tre Mason; Alex Collins, Cameron Artis-Payne)

WR/TE Auburn has by quite a bit i'll admit

OL is about the same, Auburn has a few more stars but both have NFL Centers and a couple 4* on the line

So yes Auburn has more talent if you added up all the stars, but it's marginal. Of course both teams probably have more highly rated freshmen that will play this year you could add in (I know hunter henry for us) but im not an Auburn fan so i wouldn't know who to name

I didn't feel like doing defense

Defense is optional in the SEC anyways.
