Ahhh..they'll be within 1-2 wins of each other.
I think AU will have the better year obviously.

Wouldn't surprise me to see the Egg Bowl decide 7th in the west.

Auburn will have a better record but Arkansas will beat Auburn, most likely beat mutual opponents by a greater margin, and lose to mutual opponents by less.

information bias and info bubbles. same goes for why AU fans are so confident.

I'll hit this up later...At the 5000 ft view I went back and watched the majority of Wisky games from last season. The one game they blew was NU in the regular season...u see what happened in the championship game. This team had little talent compared to MOST SEC teams, not excluding Arky.
We don't know what our identity will be offensively with Chaney in the mix, but you can be t there will be a heavy dose of run mixed with a pro pass attack. We are solid up the middle and return FB Kiero Small to block for Williams (good back) and Collins (elite back). We have more than enough talent on the outside to run a pass attack, but lets not confuse that with some of the Arky teams of late (Petrino).
Defensively we have one of the better front 4's in the league...We have 2 freshman all-sec LB's from a year ago and you think they stay on that level or improve under LB coach RANDY SHANNON. Our backend should be better, assuming we stay away from the injury bug.
Chris Ash is a solid DC and the numbers don't lie at what he did at Wisky. Big10 gets a lot of pub of slow teams and I get it, but there our a lot of teams in that conference that ran a variation of the spread and they came out with good results haveing the 13th best D last year on an 8-5 teams losing 3 games in OT and no game less than 7 points.
Yes....Our schedule is challenging but I'm holding off judgement on SC and aTm, considering JFF. We get Auburn at home as well, with a raunchy crowd ready to boo Gus out of the stadium.
Our coach seems confident and our staff and players have a swagger that we haven't seen since 2010.
The cupboard wasn't bare...just my .02

FWIW, Ole Miss will have a much more successful season than Auburn. JMHO.

Arkansas was -19 in turnovers last season. LAST in the country.
We're far more likely to be even this season just based on style of play. In a normal year that's good for 3 wins or more. We won 4 last year.
This year I figure we take all of our non-conference and then Auburn and Mississippi State (6-6) We could finish better but 6-6 is a fairly safe bet. Auburn and Mississippi State are each other's best opportunity to win a conference game this season, although Mississippi could surprise on the downside.

No! You think Ole Miss will probably finish last in the West. Please?

Collins (elite back).
How can any true freshman be considered an elite running back without even seeing a football field yet?

Who will have a better Season? Auburn or Arkansas?
Not looking at the entire thread. Auburn is the correct answer. Auburn wins 2 games more than Arky.
