I'm strictly talking your eye test. Yes, this is subjective, that's the point.

Personally.......
QB - Tua (Bama)/Fromm (UGA) (I saw Fromm live at his very best and it was every bit as good as anybody else I've seen)
RB - Swift (UGA)
WR - Jeudy (Bama)

Front 7 - State, without a close 2nd
DBs - LSU

well after seeing UGA all season and bama for 1 game you can probably pick a position group from either team for each position.

QB - Alabama
RB - UGA (no idea why they stopped running the ball)
WR - Alabama
OL - Alabama
DL - Alabama/State
LB - Alabama
DB - State
ST - A&M?

I thought White from LSU was the best defender with William's from Alabama right behind.

I was actually more impressed with Alabama's receivers than even Tua. Juedy, Smith, Waddle, Ruggs, Irv Smith.... filthy

Miss St front 7 was the best I saw, at least 1 week

LSU's DB's were impressive especially against us.

I watched the SEC Inside on the SECCG and it showed Pittman on the sideline yelling at his OL "Everybody else blocks sideways. We don't do that! We block straight into your mouth!"

I was just like damn, that dude is fvckin awesome

Greedy and Devon will probably be top 10 picks

Tennessee’s DL doesn’t deserve anything, but if honestly put them top 5

He’s also probably our best recruiter

There are very few offensive line coaches who can evaluate 16/17 kids and see them as 20/21 year olds. That dude has it (and the ability to get them there).

I don't know about the whole season, but Josh Allen from Kentucky did more to single handedly beat MSU than any other player. He was Superman on that rainy night

And Delpit was more impressive than either against us.

I was genuinely surprised at the success our Oline had against Alabama's DLine.

That said, Quinnen Williams was outstanding. he should be put in the discussion.

I really haven't seen one player take over a game like that since Derrick Thomas against Penn State in the 80's. Much like PSU against Thomas, State just couldn't block him.

Agree - I didn't see Kentucky all that much, but everytime I did Josh Allen was wrecking shite.

I had heard he was good, but I am shocked at how good he is. It's shocking the difference he makes.

Same here. There for a bit in one game I thought they had two "Allen's" in the game at the same time. he was all over the place.

Honorable mentions for me with teams/groups impressing me that I didn't think much of or not enough of going into the game

- Texas A&M's defensive front
- Kellen Mond in general
- Missouri's general physicality
- Mississippi State's secondary
- Georgia's young offensive linemen

Yep. Nick Fairley did that to State in 2010 as well
