No, just thinking about Mullen to Florida and couldn't remember the last time a SEC team hired a head coach away from another. Not everything is about LSU.

You should be more specific then. Maybe inbreds have some weird ability to read each other's minds, but we can't.

Ha. Agreed. Bama fans act like LSU faithful always make it abt us. Really ?!?! Bama fans are WORLD renowned for being the most obnoxious fans not only in D1 FB but in all other sports. I don’t count soccer??????. Better enjoy have that prick Saban while you have him. Mark my words, complacently will set in and I pray to little 5lb 8oz baby Jesus all the time. He leaves Bama for Atlanta Falcons or any team in the NFC South. Because his arse DOES NOT have what it takes to coach professionals. He’s not one himself. Look how he conducts his self in interviews and belittles everyone. Geaux Tigers beat Bama. Coach O ???? Coach Saban ????. Can’t wait to read all the butthurt Tide fans comments.

I was thinking as a step up...as in hired away from a team.. not fired and picked up. I guess that would be tubby.

This seemed like such a good idea at the time.

Muschamp....

Like recently....

I think he means from one SEC school as HC to another SEC school as a HC. Muschamp was a DC when he went to South Carolina.

Nutt and Tuberville are the only ones I can recall going directly from HC to HC. Others like Saban, Spirrier. Orgeron and Muschamp have been HC at more than one place but with at least one stop in between.

Nutt was the last one to go from one school to another as HC. However, his departure from Arkansas was involuntary, so he sort of doesn’t count.

I believe Tuberville was the last coach to jump from one job to another when he left Ole Miss for Auburn.

Interesting about this would be UF goes to State the end of September next year, so if Mulllen were to go to UF he'd have to go get his new team's teeth kicked in by the team he spent 9 years building.
