That was just embarrassing. I feel it absolutely played a role in foiling both offenses on numerous occasions because nobody could even stay upright.

They said on ESPN that the grass was from Oregon.

I don't blame the grass growers in Oregon. I think somebody in Arizona effed it up.

That field was a thing of beauty compared to the Cap One's field last year.

It was pretty bad, which is inexcusable IMO. Kind of reminded me of the Cap. One Bowl last year, just not as bad.

It seemed as if it was damp. That was the reason the running game suffered.

It wasn't the field, most players had moled cleats, they should have had 3/4 inch cleats

It wasn't so much tearing up. Just seemed really slick. I couldn't figure it out...

I think it affected Cam the most. He was defo a step slow and tentative with his cuts.

This is a hybrid. This is a cross, ah, of Bluegrass, Kentucky Bluegrass, Featherbed Bent, and Northern California Sensemilia. The amazing stuff about this is, that you can play 4 quarters on it, take it home and just get stoned to the bejeezus-belt on this stuff. Cinderella story.

A wet field usually has an equalizing effect and keeps scores much lower. That should never be the case in a NCG.

The ESPN crew on the sidelines even noticed how awful it was. They were bitching today on the radio about "why da hell " was the field so wet??

little to do with what was wrong.

Problem is that they ripped up the old sod, and replaced it with new sod WAY too soon. It looks pretty from afar, but there is no root system to hold the sod in place and there for it's no different than playing on the Capital one bowl field from last year.

Only difference is several HS and College games were not played beforehand on that field last night , so there was little wear and tear.
