Pearl has been a slight disappointment

I feel like those that say this have zero idea what has happened with AU and injuries this season. Couple that with Purifoy having to sit the season out, being down 3 fricking starters after only 1 full recruiting cycle is killer. Some of you just talk out of your arse sometimes. This place really offers nearly zero actual discussion, it's just one big dramatic troll session.

Gawd, people on this board are so fvckin stupid sometimes.

Bruce Pearl is a disappointment? He has signed, in his 3 years, probably 4 of the 20 highest rated kids Auburn has ever signed. They fill up their arena. IT'S FVCKIN AUBURN. They used to BRAG about not caring about basketball.

Seriously, some of you are obtuse. And I'm an Alabama person for gawd sake.

Auburn brings in a 5* SG, a top 100 PG, a 6'9 PF, will add a graduate transfer big man. I'm also counting 7 foot Trayvon Reed who was a 4* and didn't play this year, and Danjel Purifoy who was the top prep school player and supposedly Auburn's best player and future NBA guy that never got cleared this year.

I don't ever remember seeing the kinds of recruits he is signing in Auburn. Now if he can just get them and keep them on the court.

Your math skills are in question but there are a boat load of equally ignorant posters to defend you. Carry on.

If LSU fails to make it this year, I think both will make it before LSU does.

I think we both make it next year.

Auburn will be better at all 6 positions.

I think Bama actually takes a step backwards next year. I think Obasahan (sp?) is one of the more underrated players in the country. He appears to be the team leader, and he's certainly their best player.

Losing him hurts.

Auburn is playing almost as well despite missing a ton of kids due to injury. With a full healthy roster, plus a a lot of new talent coming in, I think Auburn could make the tournament next year.

Well, you would be wrong.

We add an NBA player, our 2nd best player before he got hurt and what all the coaches and beat writers say is our best player right now in Nick King who has to sit out for transfer. And we bring everyone else back.

Two really tough road games coming up. If we split those and win the ones we should, I think we sneak in.
