You shouldn't. Texas > Tenn. > Nebraska as far as recruiting goes. Tex. will get elite talent no matter what. I think it will be hard for Frost to get enough elite talent to Neb

More to the point, while Nebraska did pull some great talent back in the day, a large part of its success was bringing in rough-and-tumble linemen who weren't necessarily the most talented but could go toe-to-toe with anyone. That particular paradigm worked really well for some coaches back then, including the Bear, but it's no longer feasible in this era. So Frost can't just recruit regionally anymore, at least not with the same effectiveness of Osborne and his predecessors.

Tennessee is no where close to being a blue blood.

Change the question, which of these three is most likely to win the CFP first?

Tennessee will shutdown their program before they ever make the CFP.

ETA: In the current format. If it is ever expanded to 64 teams there is a chance UTk still has a program.

Rough and tumble huh?

They were roided out freaks and one of the very 1st programs to put a heavy emphasis on S&C for obvious reasons.

Didn't Nebraska just hire Frost? I'd keep an eye on them.

Texas.

I don't think Nebraska or Tennessee will ever make it. They're both just more modern versions of Minnesota, and their time has been over for a while.

Yes, those guys. Those guys have a better long term outlook than Tennessee.

Based on the conferences/competition played to get there, if we ever go we'll win. Not sure about Texas and Nebraska.

Texas by far . They have a recruiting base that’s better then the other 2 combined. They also have a better chance of being the elite team in their conference.

Nebraska has been done for over a decade. It doesn’t matter who their coach is

This is the most important factor by far. As for recruiting, only Nebraska is at a disadvantage. Even Butch Jones could bring in a top 5 class to Tennessee. State borders matter far less than location and that's where Nebraska has a tougher time.

Well, with all that talent the state of Texas produces, how many NC has the state won?
