Nice try. It's been nearly 10 years since the launch of the Longhorn Network (August of 2011). Since that date, your athletic department has had the worst run in major men's sports in its entire history.

4 Athletic Directors (Dodds, Patterson, Fenves, del Conte)

Football

48-41 record
0 conference titles
0 national titles
3 losing seasons
1 season without a single player drafted
3 head coaches

Basketball

130-107 record
0 conference titles
0 national titles
2 losing seasons
1-7 NCAA Tournament Record (missed twice)
2 head coaches

Baseball

200-153 record
1 conference title (tournament)
0 national titles
3 NCAA Tournament appearances (1 CWS, missed 3 times)
1 losing season
2 head coaches

Texas
Nebraska
Tenn

Texas has the talent and the name, and a decent coach.
Nebraska probably has the coach, but not the talent or the name.

Herman cannot hold Scott Frost's jock as an actual coach. He will have better talent to work with, though

Doesn’t change the fact that Frost is the hottest up-and-coming coach since Urban went to UF.

Texas probably makes it within 5 years. Nebraska has the easier road...but not so much talen. UT has to beat 2-3 playoffs contenders and still take care of all the trap games on its schedule...Texas it is

Clearly. That's why you're in the worst period of male athletics in your school's history and it hasn't shown any signs of getting better.

And yet, you're mortgaged to the hilt with a 1/2 billion dollar stadium and $75MM dollar coach and you haven't gotten any better either. Let's just agree that the same as in life, money doesn't cure all ills.

Tennessee is 10th all time in wins, 12th in winning %, 32nd in conference championships, 13th in consensus AA, 12th in weeks ranked, and 12th in National Champions.

You just supported my statement. Where do those rankings put us in the SEC? Second all-time behind Alabama. I didn't say we were the best. Second in the SEC is blue blood enough for me.
