Why are yall comparing McElroy and McCoy?

This is about McCarron - he'll be better remembered than both.

And that's only been 4 years ago. 20 years from now people will probably hav forgotten Mccoy. They damn sure will have forgotten mcelroy. Just like they'll forget about AJM. When I'm old the thing I'll remember about these bama teams, like I already said, is that Saban was the coach and they had incredible, elite defenses that were damn tough to score on. Not who the QB was.

Sure.

Manziel made headlines outside of football, and that reaches more people.

lol, only game I can imagine you would be talking about there would be the 2009 game, where McElroy led bama back to beat AU, unless you are in such denial about saturday that you imagine there was no second half of the '13 Iron Bowl, lol.

Either way, you are already mis-remembering AJ

Years from now nobody is going to remember manziel went to a halloween party as scooby doo, the offseason stuff is irrelevant IMO. It's that he's the unquestioned star of the team, unlike AJM. Same thing with Tebow, it was tebowtebowtebow all the time. Here comes TIM TEBOW!!!!! and the florida gators. Nobody is tuning in to watch AJM play football like they do with manziel.

I'd say JFF. He was the most electric single player during his time in the game. Won the Heisman as a RSFR. Singlehandedly made a mediocre team viable.

AJ was on a great team. How good would he have looked playing for TAMU?

Exactly. People from all over the country would tune in to see what kind of Houdini shite JFF was going to pull each week. Nobody really cared to see AJ throw to wide open receivers because opponents had sold their souls to stop Alabama's run game. Not to knock AJ. He did everything that was asked of him in Saban's system exceptionally well, but there was nothing really exciting about it.

Any number of QBs could've done what AJ did if they were put in that system. Even Bama fans know that.

We'll remember AJ the way we remember Ken Dorsey, the guy at the helm of the autopiloted AC-130 that is Bama. All he had to do was take off and land it.

I gotcha. I thought you were about to sing the praises of Freddie Kitchens and Tyler Watts for a second.

The QB who is OWNER of the SEC total offense records for QB's after playing two seasons. The top three all time performances and 5 of the top 20. The only other QB to have more than one top 20 performance is Peyton Manning who had two.

JFF
