First off you are dumb

Second off they paid him big money Kelly isn’t going anywhere

Third off the only culture that matters is winning.Les Miles was far more of a square peg than Kelly is and we gave him years to figure it out.

Kelly just doesn’t fit in with the culture in Louisiana and LSU fans are notoriously impatient. If he wins less than 8 games this year, his seat will be warm
Just like Nick Saban wouldn't or Skip Bertman...ok, that's a stupid argument

Ed Oregron was from Louisiana, yep that was a great fit lol

Kelly lasts longer.

UF is further away from respectability based on what they have on the roster but their fans still think they should challenge for titles quickly.

It's not a matter of who's better, but who is in a better situation. Kelly is in a much better situation. Napier has to lay a golden egg to meet UF expectations. It's unlikely to happen... so he's likely to get the boot quicker.

Expound.

I agree with this.

The bar is too high, every coach we fired had one or more 10+ win seasons, but at the same time we gave muschamp another shot at it and it was pretty dismal so I understand it.

You only want to paddle against the current so long. UF is 13 years removed from our last national title and that matters, too. LSU can say least say to themselves hey we won it all just three years ago, give Kelly time.

I like both to last a while tbh.

Kelly is recruiting better than anyone thought he would at LSU, LSU fans included I believe. Napier is recruiting well at Florida too and the best of the class is yet to come. Focusing in on why I believe both will be at their schools for the long haul, their organization and detail. All things I’ve read Kelly has implemented and Napier is doing at Florida, will set both up for longevity and success over time.

I do think expectations are too high at Florida and our fans on social media although the minority, are the vocal majority and very diligent. Napier needs 3-4 years to set a solid foundation but fans will start to get rustled year 2 if things are rocky. I hope he can get off to a good start, I really like Napier and his vision.

Kelly will retire before Napier
Whether Napier finishes his career at Florida or not is the real question

If Kelly was at Florida and Napier at LSU that would be the easiest $100 you ever won.....

I dunno, Mullen was gone at 3.5 years, two trips to Atlanta and two 10+ win seasons.

We also have a history of firing dudes when they get even mildly weird.

Kelly isn't going to work out at LSU because his shoes is one of my favorite takes ever.
