It's more of hate the least thing, but...

Old Mrs.

I have very good friends that went to school there and one that never left Oxford. I had many good times there. It's a classic college town.

Oh, and they always suck, so its easy to feel sorry for them.

I can hear my dad saying "Arkansas!," and my guy saying "Bama!," and other family members saying "Tennessee!" or "Georgia!". So I really don't know!

Maybe I should be safe and say LSU.

I liked LSU when Saban was there. Loved the way they played smashmouth ball. Now I don't have a second favorite team.

And I'm only kind of kidding. Sometimes I like you because you make me laugh and I think you're interesting. Other times you just act like a dick.

Used to be Miss State as I had a couple coworkers who were alums. I think recently it has become Alabama though. The last 2 trips they made to BR we had some pretty good times with some very nice and knowledgeable Bama fans. There was some razzing but also a lot of drinking , laughing, and respect.

I like USC and I cannot wait for the rivalry. Most of our fanbase is too thin-skinned so Spurrier should have a good time trolling.

I like LSU, and if Alabama permanently ceased to have an Athletic Department, I'd probably become an LSU fan (other applications will be accepted and considered, however). I also like South Carolina, mostly because I like Spurrier

I was born in Alabama and have cousins who attended UAT, and my in-laws are originally from Charleston.

If Bama ceased to have an athletic department it would still be a pretty effing good school.

Schools I would send my kids to for academic reasons only, in order, minus A&M:
1. Vandy
2. Georgia
3. Florida
4. Alabama (most underrated school in the U.S.)
5. LSU (also way underrated)
6. Auburn
7. Missouri
8. Arkansas
9. Ole Miss
10. South Carolina
11. Tennessee
12. MSU
13. Kentucky

ETA: frick LSU

I completely agree. There's a stigma against the entire state of Alabama and a lot of people think the University's just like the state, which it's not- it's really becoming a top public school

Being that there's no pro teams (and the pro teams I do support are Atlanta's, and two of them aren't very good historically), I'd still need a college athletic program to support. But God forbid, this will never happen

State, not sure why either. Have always kind of rooted for them when we aren't beating them.

Probably because they rarely are competing for the top spot in the West. So if MSU wins, it usually helps LSU.

That's what gets all the ignorant, trashy side-walk fans, unfortunately. Otherwise, they would would support the pro teams, like trailer-park Cowboys fans.
