re: Prediction for LSU women's BB NCAA tourney run

Elite 8
Turnovers will be the downfall, along with poor on-ball defense at times.

re: Really think about Les Miles. And how amazing LSU won despite him.

This is exactly how I think of Les’s tenure. Saban used a similar formula. Recruit top athletes and win with running the ball , great defense and out talenting the other team. It used to work.
Running more keeps the other offense off the field and eventually wears the other team down. Also cuts down on turnovers.
The superior defense kept the other team’s scoring below average.
The difference (not the only one of course) in the 2 is that one adapted to the new, offensive minded college landscape and one didn’t.

re: I have never seen a coach almost universally hated in the media quite like Kim Mulkey

It seems that for many of you, there is no event/subject that doesn’t involve the conspiratorial liberal agenda. Yes, much of MSM seems to lean to the left. Not all of it , there are right leaning media outlets as well.
Kim and the young women are not the first or last athletes that will be criticized wrongfully in the media.
They will be fine.
They also didn’t “protest” the national anthem as coach Mulkey explained.
Quit looking for your boogey man and you will find that he disappears.
You don’t need to “wake up” to the conspiracies. Try reason and skepticism instead of fear and hatred. And smile more ??

Ever since Smith went down for the season, I thought that would be the biggest factor in how far the team would go.
She was really starting to come into her own on both ends before she got hurt. She could spell both bigs for considerable minutes. She doesn't get mentioned nearly enough by the media. Rosario could be huge next year as well.

re: Has anyone with football knowledge said Fla st would beat Bama?

Just got off the phone with Auburn.
They said as long as you rush more than 2 on defense it shouldn’t be a problem.

Tried to feel bad for him, but almost every time he spoke he seemed like a douche
re: Buy or sell over the next 5 years: Texas & Oklahoma football
Posted by Tigertown on 7/6/23 at 4:53 pm
They both may struggle a little at first, but I can’t believe it is will last long. These 2 schools are historically strong and it doesn’t make sense that they would get worse in a better conference.
The money and recruiting should improve their status sooner than later.
Might be proven Wrong , but when I take off my SEC glasses, that’s how I see it.

Dude's anatomy is a blessing and a curse for basketball, he bullies his way around the court but it just wrecks his lower body with all that weight shifting and hammering down
he's going to be riddled with injuries for a large portion of his career unfortunately, it's just the nature of his build
This!
Love Zion . Incredibly agile for his size.
His youth will allow him to play for a while , but the injuries will mount until he is unable to play if he doesn't change his weight a little. 20-30 pounds might be enough?
re: If Nuss was your son, what would you advise him to do?

Son,
A lot of people are going to tell you to work harder, practice and study the playbook.F#$k that !
I didn't raise you to be a Nussy!
My best advise is to follow the Tiger Rant as closely as possible.
You can NEVER go wrong with the insight and strategy you will receive there.
Also, forget everything your NFL dad and all your coaches ever taught you.

This is a common myth in football.
The real experts will tell you to start by looking at the end of your schedule and work your way backwards week by week. This method will thoroughly confuse opponents and gives them nothing to prepare for you with.
