For Tennessee the answer is obvious. We share so many cultural, educational, and natural beauty characteristics it has to be Hawaii. It’s a crying shame we live next to a bunch of red neck States. We deserve better.

Texas doesn’t have any. Texas is Texas and nobody compares enough to be a ‘brother’

Coming from Louisiana, it’s the Gulf Coast.

Texas
Louisiana
Mississippi
Alabama
Florida

South Louisiana has long and deep rooted connections with all of them.

For tLandmass I am guessing Louisiana. Ole Miss was so impressed they used the Louisiana black bear as a mascot.

It's really too bad Vandy has 2 national titles in baseball while State has none. You real fans who "respect the game" should have more. Or...frick you.

Yes it’s called the “walking on water” syndrome.

I'm afraid no other state will have anything to do with Communist California. The Dumbocrats have clear control of what once was the most idyllic and desirable place to live in the U.S.

Today, the ONLY things going for this Golden State-turned-to-brass are the magnificent weather (best in the world!) and incredibly beautiful topography (probably the most beautiful landscape from North to South in the world, too).

What are the cons of California? Let me name its ways...

*Extremely prone to drought
*Highest taxes in the nation
*Jerry Brown-now-morphed-into-a-more-evil, Gavin Newsom for governor.
*Massive earthquake threat
*Earthquakes EVERY DAY
*Mudslides
*Wildfires
*Gang violence
*High crime
*Heavy traffic
*Rampant poverty
*Typhoid Fever spreading through Los Angeles
*Hostile political environment
*Ridiculous regulations (you can't spit w/o CA telling you HOW FAR you can spit!)
*Terrible schools
*Political correctness gone amuck
*Illegal immigrants running all over the place
*Not enough jobs
*Air pollution
*Multiple nuclear power plants
*Fear of tsunami threat all along the coastline
*Huge drug problems
*High population density
*The State of California is FLAT BROKE
*The mere presence of Los Angeles, San Francisco, Oakland, Sacramento, Stockton, and now San Diego (quickly becoming a 3rd-world city like L.A. & S.F.)

Just WHO in the WORLD would want to visit or worse, LIVE in California? Just WHAT IN THE WORLD AM I DOING STAYING HERE RIGHT NOW!!!???

Work. Although Atlanta (the new Hollywood) has overtaken Los Angeles for the most films produced and with many major studios now located there, my work still has me here. Drat.

Georgia since Georgia's job was basically to protect South Carolina from Florida.

quote:

King George was not terribly concerned with the plight of the English debtor. His advisers pointed out that such a colony in Georgia might provide defense for the South Carolina rice plantations from Spanish Florida.
