I know that it's Winsipedia, but Tennessee literally has 2 National Championships. Every "National Championship" they claim was after the advent of the AP poll, including an embarrassing "Bama style" claim of USC's 1967 National Championship. They have two titles, debate a wall about that fact.

Lol please stop. Look at how many publications selected UT in 1938. We have 4 legit ones and 2 Bama claims.

We're not up for demotion this week. TU should have never even been invited to this conference.

Thank Snakey and ESPN. ESPN wanted to get out of the LHN losses, and Snakey has no spine.

If Sankey said no then Texas would be joining the Big 10 next year and he'd be the laughing stock of the CFB.

TCU won in 1938, (a year before Aggy, Jesus that was a long time ago.) AP National Champions. Y'all did finish 2nd that year though, which is very good, but you weren't champions in 38' I'm sorry to say. Again, debate a wall about that fact.

And Texas isn't remotely ... I grew up in Austin, and it is deteriorating rapidly. The area around Austin is nice, but I wouldn't call it beautiful.

Nobody in their right mind would do so

I hope to see Tennessee vs Texas turn into a bitter rivalry.

I say that they should play yearly for the right to be called The Real UT.

We have rivals, thank you.

We have real SEC rivals. Texas is not worthy.

Would be a great rivalry, but even as a Horn, I couldn't stand watching two different colors of orange on the same field.

Orange and light brown.

It's actually 1858 as a legal entity when Texas Legislature by act assigned the "University Lands" to "the University of Texas".

Just call Texas "Texas." They are neither UT nor TU.

"UT" is Tennessee. They were a school before Texas was even a state.

"TU" is Tulane.

Not everyone gets to play in the big 12. Even Butch Jones would have done huge damage in that league with Dobbs at QB. Oklahoma barely escaped us with a win in 2015 two overtimes.

The answer is Tennessee obviously.

That’s the AP dumbass. Isn’t the end all be all pre BCS era. Over 10 publications selected UT.
