Yeah, but at least everything would be back to normal the following year. You lose to one of the three I mentioned, and that shite follows you for years...ala La-Monroe or App. St.

It was, it is, and will forever be Clemson. Any accomplishment we might obtain throughout the season will be almost unbearable to think about or even bring up if we lose to Clemson, cause surely any boasting about that accomplishment will receive a "well we beat you" shite from Clemson fans.
SC gave Clemson a lot of shite after beating them in '09 a week or so after Clemson won their division.

If we lose to Samford, I'd assume it'd be so that when Gus leaves, fans don't go crazy when we hire Rhett to replace Gus.

Don't mean to hijack but this brings up a funny story.
I was at BCT at Fort Jackson at the end of the 2009 season. We were out at a range the day after the Clemson-SC game, getting a range brief by one of the cadre members, and all of us were silent.
All of a sudden the cadre member got all pissed off and said "Why the hell are you all so quiet? Are you Clemson fricks that depressed that we(SC) beat your arse yesterday?"

Of course I do. I feel that whichever team shows up and plays their A game will win. If both teams play their A game then I think Arkansas will come out the winner. I feel that we have a better coach, a better offense (even without Knile and the youth on the o-line), and a defense that can stop your somewhat-stagnant offense well enough.
